How to change the Language of a Template

How to change the language of your templates and spaces

Written by Jan Niklas Wick

Valuecase allows you to localize workspaces and communication by setting a language at the template level. This ensures a consistent experience for both your team and your customers - especially for email notifications and customer-facing content.

🌐 How to change the language

  1. Go to your Templates dashboard
    👉 Open Templates

  2. Open the relevant template

  3. Click Settings (top left corner of the template editor)

  4. Scroll down and select the Language (currently supported are: English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Danish, Czech, Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish)

Any spaces created from this template will use the selected language — including the system emails your customers receive (like notifications).

⚠️ Notes & limitations

  • You cannot change the language for a space after it’s been created.
Make sure to select the correct language when setting up the template.

  • The language applies to:

    • System-generated emails

    • UI elements in the customer-facing workspace
