Valuecase spaces can be connected to your own application, so customers can access onboarding, tasks, forms, and resources directly from your product experience.
This is useful if you want onboarding to feel like a natural part of your product instead of sending customers to a separate link or portal.
When to Use Embedded Valuecase Spaces
Embedding Valuecase is useful when you want customers to:
Access their onboarding space from your app or customer portal
Continue onboarding without searching for an email or shared link
See their next steps, open tasks, or onboarding progress inside your product
Move between your product and Valuecase with less friction
This is especially helpful for SaaS companies that create one Valuecase space per customer, account, tenant, or onboarding project.
How Setup Typically Works
Embedding Valuecase usually requires a small technical setup on your side.
The most important part is to keep a record of which customer account in your product is connected to which Valuecase space. This allows your application to always open the right onboarding space for the right customer.
A typical setup looks like this:
Define where Valuecase should appear in your app
For example, in a customer dashboard, onboarding area, help section, or overlay.Decide which experience you want
Choose between a simple link, an API-powered widget, or a fully embedded space (see below).Connect each customer account to the right Valuecase space
Store the related Valuecase space ID or space link in your system, so your app knows which space to show for each customer.Share your app domain with Valuecase if needed
Full embedding requires domain whitelisting before it can be used.Test the customer experience
Make sure customers land in the right space and can continue their onboarding smoothly.
Ways to Add Valuecase to Your App
There are three common ways to connect Valuecase with your own application.
1. Link or Button to a Valuecase Space
The simplest option is to add a button or link in your application that opens the right Valuecase space.
This is often the fastest way to make Valuecase accessible from your product. Below an example of how we embed Customer spaces into Valuecase.
2. In-App Widget With Valuecase Data
You can also build a small widget or card in your application using the Valuecase API.
For example, your app could show:
Onboarding progress
The next open task
A “Continue onboarding” button as a direct link to the customer’s space
This gives customers helpful context before they open the full space. On request, we can share ready-to-implement widget variants (see example below).
3. Fully Embedded Valuecase Space
Valuecase spaces can also be fully embedded into your application, for example in an overlay, popup, or dedicated area of your app.
This creates the most seamless customer experience: users stay inside your product while working through their Valuecase onboarding space.

For security reasons, full embedding is blocked by default. To enable it, Valuecase needs to whitelist the domain where the space should be embedded.
