Valuecase tracks every interaction your customer has inside a shared space — from task completions and form submissions to video plays and file downloads. This gives you complete visibility into your buyer’s journey and helps you take action based on real engagement, not guesswork.

Whether you're driving a deal forward, onboarding a new customer, or gathering feedback, activity tracking helps you identify what matters to your stakeholders and when to follow up.

When and How Activities Are Tracked

Activity tracking starts automatically the moment someone opens a Valuecase space via a 'share link'. Visitors do not need to log in or create an account — tracking works out of the box for external stakeholders.

  • If your space is shared openly, visitor activity is recorded anonymously.

  • 💡 Tip: If you enable access restrictions (e.g. asking for email before entry), Valuecase will link activity to a specific person so you can identify individual behavior. Learn more about access settings.

Which Activities Valuecase Tracks for You

Valuecase tracks over 50 types of customer activities — giving you detailed visibility into how stakeholders interact with your space. These actions cover everything from content consumption to task engagement and collaboration.

Each interaction is recorded as an activity, and all activities are grouped into sessions — which represent a single visit by a stakeholder. On the session level, we also track:

  • The total time spent

  • The number of activities performed

  • The visitor identity (if available)

This lets you understand not only what someone did, but how engaged they were during a visit.
