The Valuecase Chrome extension gives you quick access to your Spaces and recent activities without leaving the page you are working on. You can find Spaces, review detailed information, create new Spaces, and follow customer engagement directly from your browser.
This article explains how to install the extension and use its main features.
Installing the Chrome Extension ("Valuecase Assistant")
Visit the Chrome Web Store: Open your Chrome browser and go to the Chrome Web Store page.
Click on the "Add to Chrome" button and confirm the installation by clicking "Add Extension."
Open the extension and log in to your Valuecase account.
đĄTip: Pin the extension
To ensure easy access, pin the Valuecase extension to your browser toolbar:
Click on the puzzle piece icon (Extensions) in the top-right corner of your Chrome browser.
Find the Valuecase extension in the list and click the pin icon next to it.
Working with the Chrome Extension
Click the Valuecase icon in your Chrome toolbar. The extension opens as a side panel, allowing you to continue using the current website while working with Valuecase.
The extension has two main tabs:
Spaces: Find, create, and review Spaces.
Activity feed: See recent customer activity across your Spaces.
Finding Spaces
Use the search bar in the Spaces tab to search for a Space by name.
From the search results, you can:
Open the Space details
Copy the Space link
Open the Space in Valuecase
Creating a Space
Open the Spaces tab.
Click Create a Space.
Select a template and provide the required information.
Create the Space.
You can then copy its link, open it in Valuecase, or find it again through the extension.
Reviewing Space Details
Open a Space from the search results to access the same detailed information available in the Space Details panel in Valuecase.
Depending on your configuration, the available tabs can include:
Action plans and tasks
Comments
Activities
Form responses
Use these tabs to review tasks by milestone, follow customer engagement, check discussions, and view or download form responses where available.
From the Space header, you can also:
Open the Space in a new browser tab
Copy the Space link
Show or hide tabs
Access the full Space overview menu
The tabs shown in the extension use the same configuration as the Space Details panel in Valuecase.
Using the Activity Feed
Open the Activity feed tab to review recent activity across your Spaces.
The feed can include events such as:
Stakeholders visiting pages
Stakeholders interacting with content
Workflows running
Notification emails being sent
Other Space activity
Each entry shows the related Space and the time of the activity. Click Go to Valuecase to See More to open the full activity overview in Valuecase.
