How to add a Cards Block

The Cards block is a powerful way to highlight customer testimonials, introduce your team to potential buyers, and present other content using a cards with a horizontal navigation.

Here's how to add a cards block to your space or template:

  1. To add a new block, click the blue β€œ+” button in the sidebar and select "Cards".

  2. To add or edit information on a card simply click in one of the text fields.

    1. Name: Include the title of the card (for example the name of a person or company)

    2. Description: Provide a short description that adds context. For example, including the job title or industry of the testimonial makes the review more relatable.

    3. Text: Add text content here, like a quote from a customer or a more detailed description. You can also double-click or mark text to open the text editing toolbar. Highlight parts of the text by using bold, italics, underline formatting and more.

    4. Image upload: Click on the image placeholder in the sidebar or the space preview to upload a picture or logo for the testimonial.

  3. You can add more cards via the Editor sidebar, by clicking on "+add cards". If you have more than two cards in the same block, use the arrows to navigate left or right.

Optionally, you can also change the layout to use the cards block without images. Simply click on the layout tab in the editor sidebar and select "just text".

Use Cases

The cards block is a powerful tool for building trust and credibility with your audience and can help to improve the overall user experience of your space. Here is an overview of common use cases and how this block can be utilised:

  • Testimonials: Feature quotes or references from customers. By featuring positive feedback from satisfied customers, you can build trust and credibility with potential buyers.

  • Introduce your team: Include pictures and a short description of the relevant stakeholders on your side. Introducing the team early can create a more personal and relatable connection with your buyer. Additionally, highlighting the qualifications and experience of your team helps to demonstrate the value and reliability of your business.

  • Mini Case Study: Case studies showcase the value and effectiveness of your solution in a more concrete way, and trigger relevant conversations. In the cars block, simply use the description text field to explain common use cases and include an image of the person or company involved. Your buyer can then easily read through a number of short accounts on the impact of your solution.

It's a proven strategy to include all your testimonials in your Valuecase template. Each time, you create a space based on that template, you can simply hide testimonials that are not relevant for your customer by switching the toggle in the sidebar next to each testimonial. As a result, you get a higher degree of personalisation.
