With the "Exclude from Analytics" feature, you can now control whether specific Action Plan blocks are included in analytics and reporting features. This gives you flexibility when creating and managing Action Plans by allowing you to mark certain blocks as irrelevant for reporting purposes.

This is especially useful for Action Plans that are meant to be purely informative and are not intended to be completed.

Where to find the Setting

You can access this setting under the Settings tab of each Action Plan block in your space or template editor.

Look for the Analytics section, where you’ll find the option titled: "Action Plan Analytics and Reporting enabled"

By default, this setting is toggled on, meaning the Action Plan block will be included in analytics. To exclude the block, toggle this setting off.

What Happens When Analytics Are Disabled?

Disabling analytics for an Action Plan block will:

  • Exclude the block from the following metrics and calculations:

    • Syncing status to external sources (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).

    • MAP Progress (displayed in the space list and task dashboard).

    • MAP Status (e.g., the space will no longer appear as overdue if a task from the excluded Action Plan block is overdue).

    • Syncing status to external sources (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).

  • Removes the block from the Action Plan Analytics.

However, you will still:

  • Receive email notifications for customer actions, if these are enabled.

  • See updates in the activity feed, ensuring no loss of visibility into actions taken by stakeholders.
