The Action Plan Progress Block helps you provide a clear, visual overview of onboarding or project progress. It syncs automatically with the action plan(s) in your space, so your team and your customer always stay aligned — without needing to manually update anything.
You can add one or multiple blocks to any page, change the title, and customize the progress level. No other content editing is required.
What the Block Shows
The block supports two views, depending on your workflow:
Single Action Plan
Displays progress across milestones within one selected Action Plan.
Ideal for linear setups (e.g., onboarding steps or project phases).
Lets you show progress per milestone, with upcoming tasks grouped underneath.
Multiple Action Plans
Displays multiple entire Action Plans in a single block.
Useful for summarizing multiple workstreams or stakeholder-specific plans.
Each Action Plan shows its overall progress, with a popover of upcoming tasks (max 3 per plan).
You can switch between both views via the sidebar — changes take effect immediately in your space preview.
How to Add and Configure the Block
Open your template or space.
Click + Add Block and select Progress from the block picker (in Collaboration).
Use the editor sidebar to configure:
Whether the block shows a Single or Multiple Action Plans
Select which Action Plan to show (Single) or which Action Plan(s) to include (Multiple)
Controlling What’s Displayed
If you're using Multiple Action Plans, you’ll see an extra setting in the sidebar:
Show hidden Action Plans in ‘Multiple Action Plans’ mode
When enabled (default), hidden Action Plans appear as non-clickable items in the block. When disabled, hidden plans are excluded entirely from the block preview.
This helps you handle cases where:
Action Plans are revealed sequentially during onboarding
OR different Action Plans exist for different customer types via Content Automation
Interaction & Display Logic
Task progress updates automatically as users complete tasks in the linked Action Plan blocks.
Popovers show up to 3 upcoming tasks per plan, grouped by milestone (if available).
The layout is consistent with your existing action plans — users see progress at a glance without drilling into the plan.
Common Use Cases
Onboarding Dashboard: Add the block to the first page of a space to give customers a clear overview of where things stand.
Project Overview: Place the block above your detailed Action Plan to provide a quick summary before diving into specifics.
