Content Automation shows or hides pages, blocks and individual items based on the property values in a Space. Set up the conditions in a Template, then use that Template to create personalized Spaces.
You can combine several conditions. Content is shown only when all conditions match (AND). For example, show an implementation block when Plan is Enterprise and Region is Germany. If either condition does not match, the block is hidden.

Set up Content Automation in a Template
Before you start, create the Space Properties you want to use. Choose property types and options that match your customer data.
Open the Template you want to customize.
Open the three-dot menu beside a page, block or supported item, then select Set page automation, Set block automation or Set item automation. For an existing automation, select the corresponding Edit option.
Under This page/block/item is shown when, choose a property, a comparison operator and a value. The operators depend on the property type: for example, is or is not for a single value.
To combine conditions, click Add condition. Select a different property, operator and value for each additional row. The rows are joined by AND.
Complete every row. Each property can be used only once in the same automation. Use the trash icon beside a condition to remove an extra row.
Click Save automation changes.
The sidebar shows the automation and indicates additional conditions. Hover over its summary to see the conditions.
How combined conditions work
All conditions must match. Separate rows always use AND. There is no OR option between rows or grouping of conditions.
Use each property once. For example, combine Plan and Region as two conditions.
Multiple checkbox values belong to one condition. For a multi-select property such as Purchased Services, an operator like contains at least one of checks the values within that row. Any other property conditions must still match. See Space Properties for the available operators.
Single-condition automations still work. Add more conditions only when you need them.
Apply the automation when creating a Space
Create a Space from the Template and provide the relevant property values. Valuecase applies the conditions automatically. Content with combined conditions is shown only when every condition matches.
The sidebar indicates which elements use automation. Their visibility is controlled by the conditions while automation is active.
Change an automation or its values
Change the conditions in the Template: open the element’s three-dot menu and choose its Edit automation option. Add, change or remove conditions, then save.
Changing an automation in a template does not have any effect on existing spaces.
Change values in an existing Space: go to Space Settings > Properties and update the relevant values. Active Content Automation adjusts visibility automatically.
Switch to manual visibility in a Space: choose the element’s Remove automation option and confirm. You can then control visibility manually. Once removed, automation cannot be added back to that element through the Space editor.
Define the conditions in the Template; an existing Space lets you change its property values or remove inherited automation.
Use Space Owner in Content Automation
Content automation also works based on the Space owner, allowing you to display personalized content, such as contact information. To set up the automation, simply select 'Space Owner' in the drop-down list. The automation will then apply automatically to any spaces created afterward, based on the designated Space owner. No input is required on the custom properties screen.
