You can automatically reveal a hidden page in your Space once a customer completes a task, finishes a milestone, submits a form, or completes an entire action plan. This helps you guide customers through a structured journey without overwhelming them with information upfront.
This article shows how to set up page visibility automation. It's part of our Workflow engine - for all details go here.
How Page Unlocking Works
Pages controlled by automation are hidden by default. They remain invisible until the trigger condition is met; for example, when a specific task is marked as done or a form is submitted.
If you want to unlock multiple pages based on the same trigger, you can select them together in one workflow. If different triggers should unlock different pages, create separate workflows.
Setting Up a Page Unlock Trigger
Open Valuecase Dashboard and go to Workflows.
Create a new workflow and select any of the available triggers, e.g., Task completed
Configure the trigger by selecting the specific task, milestone, plan, or form.
Choose Show page(s) as the action.
Select the page(s) you want to unlock.
These pages are hidden until the automation runs.
Save the workflow.
Optional: Notify the Customer When a Page Unlocks
You can automatically show a notification when new content becomes available.
This notification appears as a small pop-up that the customer must acknowledge before continuing.
To enable it:
In your workflow action, enable Show notification.
Enter a custom message, e.g., “New content has been unlocked in your onboarding portal.”
Once the trigger event occurs, the notification appears and the newly unlocked page is revealed.
